Agreement Please take a minute to read the agreement presented below, which defines the terms under which The Band Universe provides services. The agreement is written in plain English, not Legalese. In the context of the agreement, you are member. In order to join The Band Universe you must agree to the terms by clicking the I Agree button at the bottom of the page. The Band Universe welcomes bands, groups, and individual artists as members. If you have a resource or service-oriented website, click here to exchange links. Privacy Statement The Band Universe requests member contact information as well as information about the band/group/artist that member represents. Your contact information is used by The Band Universe for identification and notification purposes only. This information will not be redistributed to anyone without your permission, except under court order. The Band Universe cannot be held responsible, however, for redistribution that occurs due to a breach of the service provider's data center security or data integrity. Terms Of Service Member must store passwords in a secure location and not distribute them to others. Member is solely liable for any unauthorized breach resulting from their actions. Memberships are not transferable. This means you may not give your membership to another party. Member may cancel a membership at any time by logging in as a member and deleting the member information. Cancellations are effective immediately. Member must own outright or have obtained permission to use any music files they upload to The Band Universe. The Band Universe has no knowledge of, and will play no part in ownership/copyright disputes. Member agrees that by uploading music to The Band Universe, permission is granted to The Band Universe to make the music available to any visitors to the site for the purpose of listening only. The Band Universe will not provide any type of copy protection for uploaded music files. Members are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary equipment to gain access to this site, including but not limited to, any software that may be needed to view, listen to, or interact with certain services this site may offer. The site administrators have the right to cancel the membership of any member who stores information in The Band Universe database that contains statements or language deemed unacceptable or illegal. Without limitation, this site does not offer any warranty to any aspect of the service, be it a service provided directly by this site or a third-party source. These terms and conditions can be changed at the discretion of the site administrators. Current members will be notified by Email when amendments are made.
